Arena is open: Season 0 starts in Bishkek

The open-age talent league for Central Asia begins its first season in Kyrgyzstan. It runs until March 2027, entry is free, and every prize is in kind.

Arena, the talent league built by Alt AI Labs in Bishkek, opens its first season today. Season 0 runs from October 2026 to March 2027 and is open to players across Kyrgyzstan, whatever their age, school or job.

How a season works

Every player starts at zero. The first rungs are the basics: link Gmail, GitHub and LinkedIn, then pass a typing test and a reading test. From there the journey moves into learning tracks, then into the arena itself, where skill is proved in public.

Season 0 uses the formats already built into the app:

  • Drops: solo, timed challenges judged by AI against a written brief.
  • Duels: one-on-one, same brief, the better work wins.
  • Squad battles: teams compete on one task.
  • Weekly leagues: cohorts of 15 players matched by activity. Every Monday at 00:00 Bishkek time the week closes, the top five move up and the bottom three move down.

Results feed a single rating. Everyone starts at 1000, and the number moves only on competitive results, never on lessons or votes. Between seasons the rating gets a soft reset; medals and passport history never reset.

What players can win

Season 0 prizes are in kind only: devices, tuition and internships. There is no cash in this season, and there is no entry fee in any season. Players aged 13 to 15 compete on the same ladder as adults, with a private profile by default.

Why a season zero

We are calling it Season 0 because it is a test, and we have written down what passing looks like. The bar is 2,000 to 5,000 people competing every week, with at least 40% of them taking part each week. If fewer than 2,000 compete weekly with in-kind prizes, our own plan says cash prizes would not fix it.

The app is Android first, because 73–84% of phones in Kyrgyzstan run Android. A web preview is live at altailabs.co/app, and the Google Play release follows the internal test track.
