Terms of use

Alt AI Labs is a place to learn by doing real tasks, enter challenges and show your work. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself.

Entry to every challenge is free. Nobody pays to compete, and there is no element of chance: entries are judged against criteria published before you start.

An AI model pre-scores entries and a person makes the final decision. That decision is final.

Prizes and referral fees are the amounts shown on the challenge and are paid by the organization named on it, as that challenge’s rules describe. Cash is paid to people aged 18 or older. You are responsible for any tax on what you receive.

A challenge may be changed or withdrawn before judging begins. If that happens we say so on its page.

Apple and Google are not sponsors of any challenge and are not involved in them in any way.

What you make is yours. By posting it you give us permission to store it and show it on the service.

What happens to winning work, for example a licence to the organization that posted the challenge, is stated in that challenge’s rules before you start. Entries that do not win stay yours.

Submit only work you made or have the right to use. Copied work is disqualified.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Do not post anything illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, violent or harassing, and do not post spam, malware or other people’s private information.

Do not cheat: no fake accounts, no faked results, no interfering with judging or with other people’s entries.

Anyone can report a post, product or profile from inside the app, and block a person so their posts no longer appear. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules and may close the account that posted it.

The toolkit links to tools made by other companies. Some of those links are referral links, and they are marked: if you sign up through one, we may earn a commission or credit at no extra cost to you. We are not responsible for other companies’ services.

You can delete your account at any time in the app or by writing to hello@altailabs.ai. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

The service is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and correct, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for losses that follow from using it.

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so on this page and change the date at the top. Write to hello@altailabs.ai with any question.
